We have 4 different types of accommodation at The Falls Retreat, all set in beautiful natural woodland and within a few minutes walk to Owharoa Falls and the popular Hauraki Rail Trail. A delicious continental breakfast is included in our bed & breakfast rate which includes freshly baked sourdough bread, house-made muesli, jams and preserves and seasonal fruit or choose to upgrade to a delicious cooked breakfast which gets delivered to your cottage “ room service style”. Be sure to add on one of our delicious gourmet grazing meals to enjoy in your cottage, or around the property, which is packed with a range of cured meats and artisan cheeses, a delicious main course featuring organic produce from our veggie gardens and a platter of housemade sweet treats to finish (suitable for a meal for two people).

We pride ourselves on being a family friendly establishment and kids up to the age of 5 can stay for free! We have a portacot available on request and a fantastic kids playground -  we are also happy to welcome dogs with advance notice!

All our rates are for bed and breakfast as we include a delicious continental breakfast basket featuring our freshly baked sourdough bread, homemade muesli, eggs, butter, seasonal fruit, housemade jams and preserves and local honey.

Log Cabin - From $350pn (2 nights minimum stay may apply- sleeps up to 5)
Rose Cottage - From $300pn for 2 adults
Waterfall Cabin - From $260pn for 2 adults

Glamping Tent - From $300pn for 2 adults ( 2 nights minimum stay available Labour weekend - Easter)
Gourmet Grazing Meal to enjoy - From $100 based on 2 people sharing

During Winter we slow things down! Our Bistro is OPEN only on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) from 11.30am - late for all day dining in our cosy rustic barn with log fire roaring!

From 2nd October, we add Fridays and from mid - November we will add Thursdays to the mix! Book online HERE

The Social Menu: Simple dishes all made from scratch using homegrown and local produce, served with a casual vibe and designed to enjoy with family and friends. This is an a-la-carte menu featuring a pasta of the day, delicious wood-fired sourdough pizzas, organic garden salad and a few special dishes.
